Hoi An ancient city to host Korean Culture Day 2021

Korean violin artist JMI KO, singers Seok Hun and Hansara, and K-pop dance troupe will perform in Hoi An ancient city of Quang Nam from April 9 to 11 during the Korean Cultural Day event, an annual cultural exchange between the Republic of Korea and the central province.

Quang Nam (VNA) – Korean violin artist JMI KO, singers Seok Hun andHansara, and K-pop dance troupe will perform in Hoi An ancient city of QuangNam from April 9 to 11 during the Korean Culture Day event, an annual culturalexchange between the Republic of Korea and the central province.

The event will be held at the An Hoi Sculpture Garden, featuring an array ofcultural performances, cuisine, and traditional arts of the RoK and Hoi An city.

Visitors will have the chance to experience Korean culture and cuisine at15:00-18:00 on April 10 and 11. Meanwhile, the Hoi An cultural space is openfor visitors at 15:00-18:00 on April 9-11.

The UNESCO-recognised world heritage Hoi An ancient town and the InternationalMask Arts & Culture Organisation and Andong City of the RoK inked anagreement in promoting cultural exchanges, exhibitions and friendship visitsfrom 2017.

It aimed to boost diplomatic ties between the RoK and Vietnam in general, and the central provinceof Quang Nam inparticular.

Different Korean art troupes including the art troupe of HahoeFolk village, a UNESCO-recognised world heritage site in Gyeongsangbuk; theWorld Music Assemble One, RAAK, Sachoom, Bibap Bang A Tha Ryeong had visitedHoi An for annual joint performance.

The RoK is one of thetop five sources of foreign visitors to Quang Nam./.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

A cultural festival has been held in Uijeongbu city of the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s Gyeonggi province to mark the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Association (VWA) in the country.
