Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) –TheHo Chi Minh Museum in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on August 31received 189 documents and objects on President Ho Chi Minh.
The documents and objects, whichwere donated by 15 individuals, also reflect the life of soldiers and residentsin Thua Thien-Hue during the resistance war.
They include medals President Ho ChiMinh presented to Pham Ba Dien and Hoang Nhu Luyen in recognition of their braveryin fighting, along with a lacquer painting and a bronze relief depicting thebeloved President, among others.
On August 29, the Ho Chi Minh Museumin Hanoi also held aceremony to receive 80 memorabilia relating to the late President, includingthe red neckerchief President Ho Chi Minh gave to Dinh Ngoc Thi in 1966, whoserved as head of the Young Bamboo Shoots Duy Vien Co-operative, a group ofYoung Pioneers founded in 1958.
Other objects are a pistol the President grantedto Health Minister Hoang Tich Tri (1903 - 1958), four letters President Ho ChiMinh sent to the Minister, and a painting of President Ho Chi Minh by Bulgarianpainter Stefan Petrov in 1957.
Thesedocuments and objects were handed over the museums on the occasion of the 73rd National Day.-VNA
