Hau Giang to host first marathon for climate change campaign

The first Mekong Delta Marathon Hau Giang 2019 will be organised on April 21 in Vi Thanh city in Hau Giang province, aiming to raise public awareness of climate change.

HCM City (VNA) - The first Mekong DeltaMarathon Hau Giang 2019 will be organised on April 21 in Vi Thanh city in HauGiang province, aiming to raise public awareness of climate change.

More than 1,500 athletes have registered to runon four different routes of the marathon.

The organisers said participants would have thechance to enjoy the delta’s amazing scenery and culture during the run. 

Music and dance performances will also be heldto entertain runners.

All cash collected from the event will bedonated to local funds for the poor and help people who suffer from climatechange.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi
