Golf tours bring Vietnam, Japan closer. (Photo: VNA) Tokyo (VNA) – More than 50 golfers fromVietnam and some guests from Japan participated in the Sakura Championship 2023 held by Yo Group of Vietnam in Japan’s Shizuoka prefecture on March 31.
This is the biggest group of Vietnamese golfers travelling to Japan since the East Asian nation fully opened its borders to foreignvisitors in October 2022.

According to Alexandru Arba, a Japan researcher atStatista, a leading statistics company on the Internet, the number of golf playersin Japan was estimated at 10.52 million last year, an increase of nearly 13%compared to 10 years ago./.
