Hanoi (VNA) – A photo exhibition was opened at theImperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi on August 31, offering visitors aninsight into Vietnam’s path to independence throughout history.
The event, held to mark 75 years since theAugust Revolution and the 75th National Day (September 2), features 100exhibits, including documents and photos, providing a brief overview of thestruggles to safeguard national independence against foreign invaders from the10th to the 19th century.
They also help the public learn about thevictory of the August Revolution in 1945, which led to the establishment of theDemocratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, onSeptember 2 the same year.
