Exhibition introducing Dong Son bronze culture in Switzerland

A collection of bronze items belonging to Dong Son culture (c. 5th-1st century BC) - a Bronze Age culture in ancient Vietnam in the north and north central regions - is being on display at an exhibition that officially opened at Barbier-Mueller museum in Switzerland on September 28.

Geneva (VNA) – A collection of bronze itemsbelonging to Dong Son culture (c. 5th-1st century BC) - a Bronze Age culture inancient Vietnam in the north and north central regions - is being on display at an exhibition that officially opened at Barbier-Mueller museum in Switzerland on September 28.

The Dong Son Art exhibition, which takes place on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties, is a chance for thetwo countries to tighten cooperation, consolidate friendship and promoteVietnam’s culture to people in Switzerland.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors until February28, 2022.

Introducing Vietnamese culture in Geneva is a highlight inVietnam's cultural diplomacy and international relations, thus contributing toexpanding cooperation and diverse exchanges with other countries around theworld in this multilateral diplomatic centre./.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Archaeologists from the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, the Hanoi Museum and the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities have announced the discovery of over 70 graves from the pre-Dong Son period and 40 graves from Dong Son period at the Vuon Chuoi archaeological relic in Kim Chung commune, Hoai Duc district.

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

A cultural festival has been held in Uijeongbu city of the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s Gyeonggi province to mark the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Association (VWA) in the country.

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
