EPGA establishes first Vietnamese golf academy

Hanoi (VNA) - Els Performance Golf Academy (EPGA) has been selected tobecome Vietnam’s golf training centre, following a signing ceremony held in Hanoion December 4.

EPGA,which is the first international golf academy in Vietnam, in co-operation withthe Vietnam Golf Association (VGA), the National Sports Administration and the VietnamOlympic Committee, has been chosen to carry out a programme to train golfathletes.

Theirmain target is to encourage Vietnamese golfers to compete at  international levels in the near future.

EPGAwill also become a partner of VGA in organising monthly tournaments, whereyoung competitors are given the opportunity to sharpen their skills and learnfrom international coaches. Following a project of the National Golf Team, allmembers of the national squads will be allowed to practise at the EPGA’sfacilities in Ecopark Urban Area, a 25-minute drive from the city centre.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day

Vietnam attends UNESCO Executive Board’s 220th session in France
