Hanoi(VNA) – Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue met with voters from districts ofHuong Son and Nghi Xuan, central Ha Tinh province on September 30 and October 1to collect feedback and proposals for the upcoming fourth meeting of the 14th National Assembly.
In the meeting,local voters spoke highly of efforts by the NA and NA deputies of Ha Tinh in makinglaw and handling complaints from citizens. They also appreciated the government’smovements to build a transparent, facilitative and innovative administrationfor the benefit of people and business, and voiced support for its solutions topreventing corruption and improving the business climate.
Deputy PM Hue, forhis part, affirmed that voters’ wishes are goals for all actions of thegovernment and the NA. He provided the voters with updates on the country’ssocio-economic development and answered their questions.
Phan Tien Hung, a voterfrom Huong Son district, suggested the government to have special policies fornon-tariff areas as he concerns once the Free Trade Agreements Vietnam hassigned come into force, duty elimination would affect the growth of the border gate economic zones.In reply, the deputy PM said ministries will review all coastal and border gateeconomic zones and find new ways for development there.
Meanwhile, other votersproposed the government to design more incentives to support farm products andprevent bumper crops leading to lower prices. In response, Hue promised todiscuss the issue with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and theGovernor of the State Bank.
The government isformulating a resolution on agricultural insurance and agricultural investmentattraction to boost the sector, he revealed.-VNA
