More than 500 students joined the Urgent Run 2017 in response to World Toilet Day in the southern province of Binh Duong on November 19.

Binh Duong (VNA) – More than 500 students joined the Urgent Run 2017 inresponse to World Toilet Day in the southern province of Binh Duong on November19.

The event was jointly hosted by the KimHoang Hiep Trading, Service and Environment Company, and the provincial Departmentof Culture, Sports and Tourism.

It aims to help raise the awareness of the importance of toilets indaily life, the environment, thus building civilised community and society.

The occasion is expected to help improve the quality of public toiletsglobally.

Le Van Hiep, head of the World Toilet in Vietnam, said ofthe World Toilet in Vietnam, who is also Director of the Companysaid, his company is Vietnam’s only official member of the World ToiletOrganisation.

The annual Urgent Run was first organised in 2015. The initiative wasintroduced to 154 other members of the World Toilet Organisation, according toHiep.-VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange
