It's one of the biggest exhibits of gemstones in Vietnam.
Hesaid it took 20-years to collect his precious stones, and the gallerywas a popular destination for tourists in Hoi An which was recognised byUNESCO as a heritage site in 1999.
The gemstones range from raw stones, tektites, sapphires and tourmaline.
Over 400 sculptures and precious stone jewellery are also on display at the gallery.
HoiAn, located in the central coastal province of Quang Nam, is an oldtrading port that dates back to the 15th century. Its architecture andlayout reflect the indigenous and foreign influences that meltedtogether to produce the unique character of the town.-VNA
