Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam trounced hosts Mongolia 9-0in their second Group I match of the AFC U16 Championship qualifier inUlaanbatar on September 22.

Doan Chi Bao scored four goals,while Vo Nguyen Hoang, Dinh Thanh Trung, Vo Minh Dan, Quoc Hoang and HaTrung Hau netted one each.
It was their second win at thetournament, following a 5-2 victory over Cambodia two days ago.

Vietnam currently have sixpoints and rank second on the table.

In their next match on September 24,they will play Australia, current leader of the group afterdefeating Cambodia 5-0 in an earlier match on September 22.

The winner will advance to thesemifinals and also qualify for the final round, which will be heldin Malaysia next year. — VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
