Hanoi (VNA) – The ASEAN Song Contest 2017 will take place in the northcentral province of Thanh Hoa from August 18-21.
Thefirst-ever event is organised by Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VoV), aiming tobolster culture exchange between ASEAN countries and their three partnersnamely China, Japan and the Republic of Korea.
Itis also hoped to enhance friendship and cooperation of those countries as wellas creativity and music talents in the ASEAN community.
Contestantsaged 18-35 from the 10 ASEAN countries are eligible for the event.-VNA
