Participants agreed that over the past 12years since its establishment, the club has organised dozens of artprogrammes, along with events to introduce the traditional costumes, musicalinstruments and culinary culture of Vietnam, thus maintaining and promoting thenational traditions and culture.
The club has also actively engaged incharity and community activities, they said.
Addressing the event, Minister-Counsellorof the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany Chu Tuan Duc gave his opinions on the 12-year journey of the club and its contributions to the strengthening ofcultural exchange between Vietnam and Germany.
Rolf Schulze, President of theGermany-Vietnam Association, who has regularly joined the club’s activities,said that the club has helped him and German people get a deeper insight into thecultural beauty and historical tradition of Vietnam.
He also highlighted the effectivecoordination between the club and the Germany-Vietnam Association inreinforcing the friendship between the two nations.
At the congress, participants electedNguyen Duc Thang as the President of the club./.
