AFF Suzuki Cup 2018: Vietnamese team to directly fly to Philippines

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will take the Vietnamese football team directly to Bacolod city in the Philippines for the first-leg semi-final match of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018, instead of the normal civilian flight journey which includes several transits.

Hanoi (VNA) – The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will take the Vietnamesefootball team directly to Bacolod city in the Philippines for the first-leg semi-finalmatch of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018, instead of thenormal civilian flight journey which includes several transits.

The flight isscheduled to take off at 11am on November 28, on an A321 plane.

According to thecarrier, it may take up to 15 hours to fly from Vietnam to the Philippines on anormal journey due to the transit time in two other cities. However, the directflight will take only 3-4 hours, thus saving time and health for the team and theirKorean coach Park Hang Seo.

Vietnam is scheduledto play the Philippines on December 2. –VNA

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Festival promotes Vietnam-RoK cultural exchange

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
