3D virtual military museum opens on Con Dao island

A 3D virtual military museum has been opened on Con Dao island by the Vietnam Military History Museum and the Political Department of Military Zone No 7.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau (VNA) - A3D virtual military museum has been opened on Con Dao island by the Vietnam Military HistoryMuseum and the Political Department of Military Zone No 7.

The museum features thousands ofmilitary-related documents, photos, books, and songs, whose physical versionsare on display at the Vietnam Military History Museum, NavalMuseum and others.

The displays have been organisedin a logical manner to help visitors get a sense of Vietnamese history.

More 3D virtual museums are set tocome up on Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago, Song Tu Tay (Southwest Cay) island, and Phu Quoc island.

Besides opening the 3D virtualmuseum on January 15, organisers also exhibited 150 photos of soldiers inaction at HCM City’s Military Zone 7 Museum.

Over 100 burials from 4000 years ago discovered in Hanoi

Archaeologists from the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, the Hanoi Museum and the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities have announced the discovery of over 70 graves from the pre-Dong Son period and 40 graves from Dong Son period at the Vuon Chuoi archaeological relic in Kim Chung commune, Hoai Duc district.

Hanoi Ao dai dance marks Vietnamese women’s day
