Viettel displays preparation for 4.0 industrial revolution

Vietnam’s leading communication service provider Viettel Group opened an exhibition in HCM City on October 14 to display its achievements and preparation for the 4.0 industrial revolution.

HCM City (VNA) – Vietnam’s leading communication service providerViettel Group opened an exhibition in HCM City on October 14 to display its achievementsand preparation for the 4.0 industrial revolution.

With the theme of “Viettel and the 4.0 industrial revolution”, the exhibitionshowcased Viettel’s network infrastructure and solutions for State managementoffices, enterprises and households.

To prepare for the 4.0 industrial revolution, Viettel has strongly invested inresearching and developing equipment for its telecom network. The mostimportant achievement is the 4G base transceiver station.

At present, the group has around 340,000 km of fibre-optic cable, 36,000 4Gbase transceiver stations with most modern technology covering 95 percent ofthe population.

It owns five data centres with cloud computing technology meeting internationalstandards.
