Vietnam’s front leader extends sympathy to Cuba over hurricane Irma

Hanoi (VNA) – President of theVietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Tran Thanh Man sent a message ofsympathy to Carlos Rafael Miranda Martinez, President of the Cuban Committeefor the Defence of the Revolution over losses caused by the devastatinghurricane Irma.

The disaster, the strongest hurricane recordedin the Atlantic Ocean, ravaged Havana capital and all Cuban localities, leavingmany people missing and injured, while affecting the infrastructure andproperty of the State and people of Cuba.

Earlieron September 11, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran DaiQuang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also extended their sympathy to RaulCastro Ruz – First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee,President of the Council of State and President of the Council of Ministers ofCuba over the disaster in the Caribbean country.-VNA
