This is part of activities to welcome the National Culture Conference that is slated for November 24 in Hanoi.
According to the administration, the video clip is a new step towards the recovery of the tourism sector in the context that Vietnam has received first international visitors within a pilot programme to open the tourism market for “vaccine passport” holders.
The video clip introduces well-known destinations of Vietnam, including Ha Long Bay, Phu Quoc island, Nha Trang and Hoi An ancient city, which has been honoured by the World Travel Awards as "Asia's Leading Cultural City Destination 2021".
Besides, in order to strengthen communications to lure foreign visitors, the VNAT has also implemented a promotion campaign entitled “Live fully in Vietnam”, with video clips and articles posted on domestic and foreign medial channels such as website vietnam.travel, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and Tiktok.
The reopening of Vietnamese tourism will be implemented in three phases. In the first phase from November 2021, tourists can take travel packages in five destinations of Phu Quoc island, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Quang Ninh.
In the second phase from January 2022, the destinations will be expanded and in the last phase, the entire travel market will be reopened on the foundation of the results of the previous phases./.
