At the meeting, Quan lauded the development of the ICAPP since itsestablishment towards the realisation of ICAPP’s key targets, such as promotingexchanges and cooperation between political parties of Asia countries, as wellas enhancing mutual understanding among Asian countries and boosting regionalcooperation through the unique role political parties, thus contributing toregional peace, stability and prosperity.
He affirmed that Vietnam has always attached much importance tomultilateral forums, including the ICAPP, saying that Vietnam will continue toparticipate in ICAPP activities in a bid to build it into a strong multilateralorganisation of political parties.
For his part, Park hailed the changes and development of Vietnam overthe past years under the leadership of the CPV. He also briefed his host aboutthe ICAPP’s agenda and orientations in the coming time to raise its operation effectiveness,turning ICAPP to an institutional multilateral forum of political parties inAsia.
At the meeting, Park thanked practical and efficient contributions ofthe CPV to the ICAPP in recent years. He also expressed his hope that the CPV,as a member of the ICAPP Standing Committee, will make more contributions tothe ICAPP’s development and activities in the future.
Earlier, ICAPP Secretary General Park Ro-byug held talks with ViceChairman of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations TranDac Loi.-VNA
