Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines’ Flight VN310between Hanoi’s Noi Bai airport and Tokyo’s Narita airport has been the firstof the national flag carrier to pilot the application of the IATA Travel Pass.
The pilot launch of digital health passport by VietnamAirlines is part of the cooperation agreement signed by the national flagcarrier and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in May.
The trial will continue to run on its flights between Hanoiand Tokyo until the end of August and on a flight between Hanoi and London onSeptember 2.
To be eligible to participate in the programme, passengersmust be over 18 years old and have a certificate of negative COVID-19 testresults issued by testing facilities registered with IATA.

The airline hopes that the successful test of the electronichealth passport will be the basis for the Vietnamese Government to considerofficially recognising this mechanism, speeding up the resumption of internationalflights in the near future./.
