Hanoi (VNA) – Budget carrier Vietjet Air hassecured a cooperation pact with the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Department in theframework of the city’s 13th International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC).
Under the deal signed on September 8, the two sides willwork together to promote HCM City’s tourist destinations, and develop jointtourism products. They will also cooperate to attract visitors from key marketsand exploring new ones.
Also at the ITE HCMC, Vietjet has been honoured as “Best LowCost Carrier” by the municipal Tourism Department.
Boasting a fleet of 45 aircraft, including A320s and A321s,the airline runs 350 flights each day and has to date carried nearly40 million passengers.
It has already opened 73 routes in Vietnam and across theregion to international destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, the Republicof Korea, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong, mainland China, Malaysia, Myanmar andCambodia./.
