The five destinations underthe survey are Sa Pa town in the northern mountainous province of LaoCai, Ha Long Bay in northern Quang Ninh province and the three centrallocalities of Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang and Quang Nam.
As many as1,500 visitors, including 750 foreigners, are invited to answer aquestionnaire on satisfaction, demand and expectations for their trip.
Thesurvey also cover interviews with related offices, including theTourism Information Centre under the Vietnam National Administration ofTourism, the localities’ Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism andmanagement boards of tourist sites, on information about tourismproducts at each destination and their surveying work.
Thesurvey, part of the Environmentally and Socially Responsible TourismCapacity Development Programme funded by the European Union, will end onApril 17.
Based on results, the EU project will provideassistance for the localities in product development orientations,contributing to intensifying sustainable and responsible tourism inVietnam.-VNA
