Hyatt Regency Danang, a50-acre resort in Da Nang city, was ranked 15th for its unspoiledbeach in front of the Marble Mountains and modern rooms, all withbalconies and most with sea views.
At the 25th place was NamHai Resort in Hoi An town, Quang Nam province. The magazine praisedthe resort’s royal-tomb inspired architecture and interesting‘Follow the Chef’ tour discovering local food markets.
Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort, located 5 km away from famous Hoi Anancient town, claimed the 34th place. It was built after a Vietnamesetraditional fishing village, offering tourists tours to the town andsurrounding countryside as well as early-morning fish market.
In October 2014, Hue-based La Residence, Hoi An-based Nam Hai andHanoi-based Sofitel Legend Metropole hotels were also listed in CondéNast Traveler’s Readers Choice Awards.-VNA
