Police in the north central province of Thanh Hoa has arrested three people for smuggling heroin from Laos to Vietnam.

Thanh Hoa (VNA) – Police in the northcentral province of Thanh Hoa has arrested three people for smuggling heroinfrom Laos to Vietnam.

The three residents of Muong Ly commune, MuongLat district, were caught red-handed transporting three bricks of heroin wasarrested on June 26 in Trung Son commune, Quan Hoa mountainous district.

The police seized three bricks of heroin andother objects relating to drug trafficking.

The men confessed that they purchased the drugin Laos and brought it to Thanh Hoa to sell. 

More investigation is underway.-VNA
