As reported by theBangkok-based English-language daily digital newspaper The Nation, the leader saidthe government would build three outer ring roads and electric railways to makeit more convenient for tourists and local people to travel to downtown ChiangMai.
He said the province is alarge tourism hub so electric trains would have to be built as soon aspossible.
The Thai PM added that thegovernment would begin the expansion of the Chiang Mai International Airportthis year.
The government would alsocarry out a study on whether to build a new and alternative airport for theprovince, he noted./.
