Dong Thap (VNA) - Visitorsto the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap should take a trip to the farms inthe Lai Vung area where farmers earn a living growing pink tangerine.

Throngsof holiday-makers from Ho Chi Minh City are flocking to the gardens in Lai Vungto witness the ripening season and take photos while spending a day pickingfruit.

Travellersare advised to drop by the orchards by the 20th of the 12th lunar month, whichfalls on February 5 this year, as local farmers will start picking fruit forsale during the peak Tet (Lunar New Year) season.

FromHCM City, travellers can take a bus to Dong Thap province at tour operators’offices on Pham Ngu Lao, De Tham and Bui Vien streets in district 1 or at a busstation on Le Hong Phong street in district 10.-VNA
