Sultan of Brunei to pay State visit to Vietnam

Hanoi (VNA) – Sultan HajiHassanal Bolkiah of Brunei will pay a State-level visit to Vietnam from March26-28 at the invitation of President Nguyen Phu Trong.

Vietnam and Bruneiestablished diplomatic ties on February 29, 1992. Since then, the two countries have regularly exchanged visits and high-ranking meetings.

Two-way trade hit 97.7million USD in 2016. The two countries have set the goal of raising bilateraltrade to 500 million USD in two-way trade by 2025.-VNA
