Ha Giang (VNA) – The northernborder defence war, which began 40 years ago on February 17, was the focusof a seminar held in the northern border province of Ha Giang on February 14.

Participants heard about the developments at theThanh Thuy battlefield in Vi Xuyen district, Ha Tuyen province (now Ha Giang).

The fight of Vietnamese soldiers and peopleagainst enemy forces across the entire northern border was a milestone in thecause of national defence to safeguard the country’s independence andsovereignty.

The seminar helped promote patriotism amongyoung generations. –VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
