The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,459 VND/USD on the morning of March 21, up by 9 VND from the day ago.

Hanoi (VNA)– The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,459 VND/USDon the morning of March 21, up by 9 VND from the day ago.

With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,137 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,793 VND per USD.

Major commercial banks made changes to their rates.

Vietcombank increased its rates by 10 VND to 22,735 VND (buying) and 22,805 VND(selling), per USD.

Vietinbank also offered the same rates as Vietcombank, which showed a rise of 5 VNDfrom the day ago.

Meanwhile, Vietinbank raised its rates by 8 VND, offering 22,734 VND (buying)and 22,804 VND (selling), per USD.-VNA
