Hanoi(VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at22,450 VND/USD on March 20, down 5 VND from the previous day.
 
With thecurrent trading band of  +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercialbanks during the day is 23,128 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,784 VND/USD.

The openinghour rates at major commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.

Vietcombank offeredthe buying rate at 22,725 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,795 VND/USD(selling), both up 10 VND from late the previous day.

BIDV added 5VND to both rates, listing the buying rate at 22,730 VND/USD and the sellingrate at 22,800 VND/USD.

Meanwhile, the rates listed at Vietinbank wentup 6 VND to 22,676 VND/USD (buying) and 22,746 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
