Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,223 VND per USD onSeptember 25, up 5 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent,the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,919 VND/USDand the floor rate, 22,527 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at most of commercialbanks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:25 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rateat 23,070 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,280 VND/USD, both unchanged fromSeptember 23.

BIDV added 10 VND to both rates, at 23,100VND/USD (buying) and 23,280 VND/USD (selling).

Techcombank also raised both rates by 10 VNDto 23,088 VND/USD (buying) and 23,288 VND/USD (selling)./
