Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,218 VND per USD onSeptember 24, up 13 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,914VND/USD and the floor rate, 22,522 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at most ofcommercial banks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:25 am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 23,070 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,280 VND/USD, both up10 VND from September 23.

BIDV kept both rates unchanged at23,090 VND/USD (buying) and 23,270 VND/USD (selling).

Techcombank raised both rates by 4VND to 23,078 VND/USD (buying) and 23,278 VND/USD (selling)./
