The daily reference exchange rate on November 21 was adjusted up for the second day this week, standing at 22,731 VND per USD, an increase of 5 VND from November 20.

Hanoi (VNA) - Thedaily reference exchange rate on November 21 was adjusted up for the second daythis week, standing at 22,731 VND per USD, an increase of 5 VND from November20.

With the current trading band of+/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,412 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,050 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates atcommercial banks also rose.

Vietcombank raised both rates by 20 VND fromNovember 20, listing the buying rate at 23,290 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,380 VND/USD.

The rates listed at BIDV went up15 VND, to 23,290 VND/USD (buying) and 23,380 VND/USD (selling).

Both the rates at Techcombank alsoincreased by 20 VND, with the buying rate at 23,270 VND/USD and the sellingrate at 23,380 VND/USD.-VNA
