Reference exchange rate kept unchanged on April 13

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank ofVietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 23,108VND/USD on April 13, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of  +/-3 percent,the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 23,801VND/USD and the floor rate 22,414 VND/USD.

The opening-hour rates at commercial banks sawfluctuations.

At 8:33 am, BIDV listed the buying rate at 22,745VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,025 VND/USD, both up 10 VND from theclosing-hour rates on April 12.

Meanwhile, Vietcombank cut both rates by 5 VNDto 22,715 VND/USD (buying) and 23,025 VND/USD (selling)./.
