Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam increased the dailyreference exchange rate for VND/USD by 4 VND on the first day of the week (April24) to 22,339 VND per USD.
With the current trading bank of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate appliedto commercial banks during the day is 22,989 VND and the floor rate 22,675 VNDper USD.
The opening hour rates listed by commercial banks saw slightfluctuations.
Vietcombank raised both its rate by 5 VND to 22,680 VND (buying) and22,750 VND (selling) per USD, compared to the final day of last week (April21).
At Techcombank, the buying rate remained the same at 22,680 VND but theselling rate was down 10 VND to 22,750 VND per USD.
BIDV cut both its rates by 10 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,670 VNDand the selling rate at 22,740 VND per USD.-VNA
