Reference exchange rate drops 1 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted the reference VND/USD exchange rate down by 1 VND from the day ago to 22,322 VND/USD on April 19.

Hanoi(VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted the reference VND/USD exchange rate downby 1 VND from the day ago to 22,322 VND/USD on April 19.

With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 22,9932VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,652 VND per USD.

In the opening hours, commercial banks raised their rates sharply.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,730 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,800VND/USD, up 30 VND.

Techcombank raised its buying rate by 60 VND to 22,710 VND and its selling ratesby 40 VND to 22,810 VND, per USD.

Meanwhile, BIDV listed its buying and selling rates at 22,740 VND and 22,810VND, per USD, up 40 VND. – VNA
