Reference exchange rate goes up 3 VND

Hanoi(VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam raised the reference VND/USD exchange rate by3 VND from the end of last week to 22,322 VND/USD on April 17.

With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 22,993 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,653 VND per USD.

In the opening hours, commercial banks made slight changes to their rates.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,655 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,725VND/USD, unchanged from the end of last week.

Techcombank maintained its buying and selling rates from the end of last week at22,630 VND and 22,735 VND, per USD.

Meanwhile, BIDV offered its buying and selling rates of 22,655 VND and 22,725VND, per USD, down 5 VND from the end of last week. – VNA
