Hanoi (VNA)– The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted its reference VND/USD exchange rate downby 3 VND from June 27 to 22,433 VND/USD on June 28.

With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,105 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,761 VND per USD.

At the opening hours, major commercial banks raised their rates slightly.

Vietcombank offered 22,705 VND (buying) and 22,775 VND (selling), per USD, up 5VND from the day ago.

BIDV bought one USD for 22,710 VND and sold one USD for 22,780 VND, showing an increase of 10 VND in both rates.
