Reference exchange rate up 6 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) adjusted the daily reference VND/USD exchange rate on June 26 up 5 VND from the day ago to 22,436 VND.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank ofVietnam (SBV) adjusted the daily reference VND/USD exchange rate on June 26 up 5VND from the day ago to 22,436 VND.

With the current trading band of +/- 3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,108VND and the floor rate 21,764 VND per USD.

The rates listed at commercial banks in theopening hour fluctuated slightly.

[Central bank looks to up foreign reserves]

Vietcombank raised both rates by 5 VND to 22,700VND (buying) and 22,770 VND (selling), per USD.

BIDV listed its buying and selling ratesat 22,690 VND and 22,760 VND per USD, both up 10 VND.

The buying rate at Techcombank rose 10 VNDto 22,700 VND but the selling rate stayed the same as on June 26 at 22,770 VND.-VND
