Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,450 VND/USD onMarch 13, down 11 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of+/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,123 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,779 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at majorcommercial banks saw only slight changes.

Vietcombank maintained bothrates unchanged from March 12, listing the buying rate at 22,720 VND/USD andselling rate 22,790 VND/USD.

Meanwhile, BIDV raised bothrates by 5 VND, buying the greenback at 22,725 VND and selling at 22,795 VNDper USD.

The rates at Vietinbank wereadjusted up 4 VND to 22,728 VND/USD (buying) and 22,798 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
