Hanoi, (VNA) – The daily reference exchangerate was set at 22,468 VND/USD on March 2, down 5 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, theceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,141 VND/USD andthe floor rate 21,797 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at major commercial banks arerather stable.

BIDV kept both rates unchanged from March 1 at 22,720VND/USD (buying) and 22,790 VND/USD (selling).

Vietinbank is buying the greenback at 22,676 VND/USDand selling at 22,746 VND/USD, the same as on March 1.

The rates listed at Vietcombank saw a slight decreaseof 5 VND, standing at 22,720 VND/USD (buying) and 22,790 VND/USD (selling). –VNA
