Reference exchange rate stable

The State Bank of Vietnam kept the daily reference exchange rate on February 27 unchanged from the previous day at 22,448 VND/USD.

Reference exchange rate remains stable (Source: VNA)

Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam kept the daily reference exchange rate on February 27 unchangedfrom the previous day at 22,448 VND/USD.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,121 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,777 VND/USD.

The listed rates at majorcommercial banks continued to rise.

At the beginning of the day, bothVietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 22,705 VND/USD and the sellingrate at 22,775 VND/USD, both up 5 VND from February 26.

However, the rates listed at Vietinbankremained the same as on the previous day at 22,707 VND/USD (buying) and 22,777VND/USD (selling).-VNA
