The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,180 VND per USD on October 22, down 5 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchangerate at 23,180 VND per USD on October 22, down 5 VND from the previous day.

With thecurrent trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercialbanks during the day is 23,875 VND/USD and the floor rate, 22,485 VND/USD.

The openinghour rates at most commercial banks stayed stable.

At 8:25 am,Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,060 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,270 VND/USD, both unchanged from October 19.

BIDV also keptboth rates unchanged at 23,090 VND/USD (buying) and 23,270 VND/USD (selling).

Meanwhile,Techcombank cut both rates by 5 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,070 VND/USDand the selling rate at 23,270 VND/USD./.
