Hanoi (VNA) - Thedaily reference exchange rate was set at 22,988 VND/USD on April 18, down 3 VNDfrom the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,678 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,298 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates atcommercial banks continued to stay stable.

As of 8:15 am, both Vietcombankand BIDV listed the buying rate at 23,150 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,250 VND/USD. The rates have been maintained for many days.

Techcombank also maintained thesame rates as on April 17, at 23,130 VND per USD (buying) and 23,250 VND/USD(selling).-VNA
