Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 23,114 VND per USD on June 17, up 5 VND from the previous day.

With thecurrent trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercialbank during the day is 23,807 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,420 VND/USD.

The rateslisted at major commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:20 am, BIDVkept both rates unchanged from June 16, listing at 22,850 (buying) and 23,050VND/USD (selling).

Vietinbank cut both rates by 3 VND, listing at 22,825 (buying) and 23,045VND/USD (selling).

Vietcombank listed the rates at 22,820 VND/USD (buying) and 23,050 VND/USD(selling), unchanged from the previous day./.
