Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank adjusted the daily referenceexchange rate for VND/USD up 4 VND on April 27 to 22,347 VND per USD.
With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate appliedfor commercial banks during the day is 22,996 VND and the floor rate 21,683 VNDper USD.
Meanwhile, the opening hour rates at commercial banks went down comparedto April 26, with Vietcombank slashing 20 VND from both rates, listing thebuying rate at 22,700 VND and the selling rate at 22,770 VND per USD.
The rates listed at Vietinbank saw a reduction of 15 VND to 22,705 VND(buying) and 22,775 VND (selling).
The greenback was bought at 22,710 VND and sold at 22,780 VND at BIDV,both down 10 VND.-VNA
