Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on July 6 that theterrorists who caused the death of Vietnamese citizens must be severelypunished.

Speaking about the two Vietnamese citizens murdered in the Philippines by theAbu Sayyaf terrorist group, the PM said: “I am very upset and angry to hearthat two Vietnamese citizens were abducted and barbarically and inhumanlymurdered. The terrorists who caused the deaths of Vietnamese citizens must beseverely punished. I extend my condolences to the families and relatives of thevictims.”

Prime Minister Phuc called on the international community to unite in fightingterrorism for the sake of peace and stability, development, and prosperity.-VNA
