The main stage for the Hue Festival Week 2024 in front of Kien Trung Palace in the Hue Imperial Citadel is nearly completed. The 1,500 sq.m stage has 6,100 seats and features multiple elevated platforms, rotating sections, and two large lotus ponds at the front.
To this point, hotel occupancy rates in Hue City are between 55% and 65%, with slightly higher rates at major hotels in the city centre.
The number of visitors to the area during Hue Festival Week 2024 is expected to increase by about 20-30% year-on-year.
The Tourism Department of Thua Thien-Hue province has been actively connecting with other localities to introduce the festival to wider audience. It has also designed additional activities and tours to serve visitors.
From now until the festival, the organisers will intensify inspections to ensure smooth activities during the festival week.
