More than 80 photos featuring the lively life of craft villages in Hanoi are on display in the Temple of Literature, Hanoi. The exhibition, held for the 13th time, is among a series of cultural activities marking the 64th anniversary of Hanoi's liberation.
The photos are showcased in three sectors, dealing with trade streets, handicraft, and gastronomy.
They depict vividly such renowned streets in Hanoi as Hang Trong for Dong Ho folk paintings, Hang Than and Hang Duong for special food.
They also feature such old-age traditional trade villages as Bat Trang pottery village and Van Phuc silk village.
The work arts reflect part of the life of over 1,300 villages of Hanoi, as well as the city’s cultural identity.
The exhibition runs until October 13.-VNA
