Hanoi (VNA) - Big Day, the online summer shopping promotion of 2018, has started at 0:00 and last until 24:00 on June 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said. 

The ministry’s Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy (VECITA) said the online event, which can be accessed via www.onlinefriday.vn, is a good chance for customers to enjoy amazing promotions on high-quality products. 

The first online shopping event of the year, Big Day also gives customers the opportunity to join enterprises’ online or offline activities. 

This year’s event has drawn a number of big names, such as Oppo, Lotte, Sunhouse, and The Faceshop. Other major brands include Mattanna, Langeige, Yes24, and Leflair, as well as Just Gentle, all of which offer more than a thousand products in various designs and attractive prices. 

Participating enterprises also show their listed and promotional prices for transparency. Last year’s Online Friday event drew the participation of 3,000 businesses.

VECITA said it expects Online Friday to help build a transparent and reliable platform for customers, laying a foundation for the strong development of e-commerce in the country.-VNA
